Universal Studios Hollywood is an immensely popular tourist destination for millions every year. Complete with movie sets, theme-park attractions and interactive shows, Universal Studios Hollywood provides an unforgettable vacation experience.


Universal Studios Hollywood is near Los Angeles, less than an hour from Disneyland and located off the Hollywood 101 Freeway (see Reference 1).

Admission Price

The price for an adult admission is $69; those shorter than 48 inches tall get tickets for $59. Children 3 and under are free (see Reference 1).

Height Requirements

There are height requirements for three rides: You must be 40 inches tall to ride The Simpsons Ride, 46 inches tall to ride Jurassic Park--The Ride and 48 inches tall to ride Revenge of the Mummy--The Ride (see Reference 1).


Some of the most popular attractions include the Jurassic Park water ride, Shrek 4-D, the Animals Actors stage and the famous Studio Tour (see Reference 2).

Operating Hours

On a regular schedule, Universal Studios Hollywood is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day. However, this changes slightly during offseason, holidays or special events throughout the year (see Reference 1).
