Turtle Bay is located on the north shore of the island of Oahu at GPS coordinates, N21 42.364 longitude and W157 59.853 latitude.
The air temperature in Turtle Bay averages from the mid 70's to the upper 80's year round with ocean temps averaging around 78 to 79 degrees. The ocean trade winds create a breeze that keeps things comfy, with an average humidity of around 50 percent.
The Honolulu Airport on the southern end of the island is less than an hour from Turtle Bay. The closest town to the Bay is Kahuku, is just a few miles away.
Scuba diving, snorkeling, mountain biking, miles of white sand beaches, horseback riding and hiking to beautiful waterfalls are all popular activities, but Turtle Bay is known as one of the most popular surfing spots in Hawaii.
Turtle Bay is supported by several dive shops and the best dive season is from March through October.
