Information on Cruise Vacations
Cruise vacations are increasingly popular because of their convenience and excellent customer service. Cruising offers outdoor enthusiasts and adventure travelers ample opportunities for an action-packed vacation. Take an exotic jungle tour at your favorite port, and enjoy relaxing by the pool after a massage in a world-class spa at a scheduled day at sea. With exotic ports of call, exceptional food and endless activities, you are guaranteed to find a cruise that will fit your vacation needs and desires.

There are multiple types of cruises available that allow you to tailor your cruise vacation to your needs. In addition to big-name cruise lines and luxury cruises, you might also enjoy small ships where you can learn how to sail and explore unspoiled territory.

You can take a cruise for almost any amount of time period you wish. The most popular length is seven nights, but there are cruises that range from three nights to a year.

Regardless of where you wish to travel, you will most often be able to find a cruise ship that heads to your area of choice. The most popular itineraries are Caribbean, Mediterranean and Alaskan cruises, but smaller cruise ships can be found almost any place there is a major seaport.

Large ships offer a wide array of on-board activities, with things such as rock climbing walls and ice skating rinks, but adventure travelers will enjoy shore excursions at exotic ports of call. Visiting architectural ruins, taking bike tours and swimming with dolphins are examples of shore excursions.

There are cruises that fit into every budget, but even more expensive luxury cruises can be a good value. Cruise prices include accommodations, non-alcoholic beverages and food; however, be aware of the extra charges such as port fees, taxes and gratuities.
