Information on Alaska Cruise Ships
There are multiple cruise ships that visit Alaskan destinations. Princes Cruise Lines sends many of theirs to Alaska on a regular basis. These ships are the Diamond Princess, the Coral Princess, the Island Princess, the Golden Princess, the Sapphire Princess, the Sea Princess and the Royal Princess. Each of these ships visits various parts of Alaska on different named cruises. Each ship offers differing levels of similar amenities.

Diamond Princess

The accommodations on the Diamond Princess are luxurious and spacious. The largest is called the Grand Suite with Balcony and offers a queen-size bed, a separate sitting room with a convertible double sofa bed and dining area, a large balcony, two televisions, a personal computer, a refrigerator and wet bar, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with a jetted corner tub and a multi-directional brass-fitting shower, all tucked into approximately 1,329 square feet.

Coral Princess

The Coral Princess offers many Personal Choice features that allow passengers to pick and choose their own activities. A few of these choices include an art gallery, a nine-hole putting course and golf simulator, four pools (one of them is just for kids), a sports court, a London-themed casino, commodious child and teen centers and a 24-hour Internet cafe.

Island Princess

The Island Princess offers awesome dining choices to its passengers, including traditional, anytime, specialty, and casual dining. These options allow for an extensive menu, constant availability for the whole family and local cuisine that is to die for.

Golden Princess

The Golden Princess offers entertainment options that rival the best of Broadway, Las Vegas, Hollywood and the best bars and grills. Many of the entertainers on the Golden Princess are professionals and deliver crowd-pleasing leisure for the whole family.

Sapphire Princess

On the Sapphire Princess, activities include a putting course, a golf simulator, a gym and fitness area, pools and day spas, hot tubs, a world-class art collection, a library and duty-free shopping.

Sea Princess

The Sea Princess offers fun things to do for the whole family--not just mom and dad. The under-18 features include an arcade, arts and crafts, Foosball tables, board games, kids' karaoke, pizza parties and movies.
