Scenic Driving Michigan by Kathy-jo & Ed Wargin
There's much more to Michigan than the Motor City. With well over 3000 miles of shoreline and access to four of the five Great Lakes, Michigan's two peninsulas offer some of the loveliest coastal scenery anywhere. Many of the drives in this guide feature pristine beaches, stately lighthouses, and quaint little lakeside towns. Here also are drives through virgin pine forests and lush wetlands, with many opportunities to spot a surprising variety of wildlife. Scenic Driving Michigan provides detailed maps, comprehensive drive descriptions, great photographs, and information about camping, special attractions, and historic points of interest.
