Laval Hiking Trails Professional Review and Guide
"The second-largest city in Québec, Laval occupies a large island north of Montréal, Île Jésus, which has shores on Lac des Deux-Montagnes, Rivière des Prairies and Rivière des Mille-Îles. In 1965, the 14 farming villages on Île Jésus joined together to form the city of Laval.
Today, some 355,000 people live in Laval, which still has no real downtown core. A large residential and industrial suburb, Laval has nevertheless managed to preserve some of its architectural heritage, as well as a number of large spaces used for agriculture or outdoor activities. This trail guide includes hiking trails at Centre de la Nature de Laval, Parc de la Riviere-des-Mille-Iles, Bois Papineau, and Bois Chomedy."
