Tryon River Professional Review and Guide
"A paddle on the Tryon River heading north under the bridge is the consummate tidal water experience. Even in low tide, we were able to navigate the river’s multiple meanders. In late June the entire area is a bird sanctuary par excellence. In our two- to three-hour trip we saw an eagle, several ospreys, herons, red-winged blackbirds, black ducks, mallards, and kingfishers. The quantity and quality of the birdsongs were extraordinary."
--Bob Gillette, Paddling Prince Edward Island (Falcon Guides).
