Tignish River Professional Review and Guide
"Launch your canoe or kayak and head upriver, where you will see another fishery on your right, Judes Point. This wharf also has a ramp for launching, but you should not miss a quick side trip to see the fishing boats tied to the wharf adjacent to the ramp previously mentioned. Continue paddling westward and follow the wide, curving shoreline inland. The area hosts a large bay, marsh grass, cattails, and thick fir trees growing along the banks.
Paddle upriver under two bridges. After you travel under the second bridge, you are in for a real treat. Here the marsh grass is very thick and the river splits into two narrow channels, either one offering fine paddling. This area is filled with birds, especially ducks."
