Stanley Bridge North Professional Review and Guide
"I once sailed my canoe from the Morris Bridge, down the Stanley River, under Stanley Bridge, and across New London Bay to the south side of the barrier beach known as the Cavendish Dunes. The sailing was memorable, but the paddling is equally enjoyable. You can paddle parallel to the eastern or western shorelines heading north, but I recommend hugging the eastern shore and heading for the lagoon into which Grahams Creek empties. This quiet, sheltered bay is part of Prince Edward Island National Park. From your canoe or kayak, you will see walkers and bikers on the popular Homestead Trail that circles out to magnificent views of New London Bay and the Cavendish barrier dunes."
