Bell’s Pond (Campbell’s Pond) Professional Review and Guide
"An in-land extension of Hunter River is Bell’s, sometimes called Campbell’s, Pond. The first time we paddled the pond, we launched next to the salmon ladder at the easternmost bank of the pond. The launching there is rather steep; to avoid the hassle, put in at the parking area. Paddling out onto the pond from the launching ramp, turn left (upstream). Do not be discouraged if you encounter shallow water on your left. Paddle on the right bank and proceed upriver. Soon you will be treated to some unique paddling opportunities."
