Morell - St. Peter's Confederation Trail Professional Review and Guide
"This trail is located in eastern Prince Edward Island, 28 miles northeast of Charlottetown. Offering a classic Prince Edward Island blend of meadows fringed with wildflowers and breathtaking coastal views, this section of the Confederation Trail extends between Morell and St. Peter's on the eastern part of the island. St. Peter's was the site of the first French settlement on Prince Edward Island. The ride is an easy 14.3-mile out-and-back that makes an excellent easy excursion for novice riders or groups of mixed ability levels. The ride simply follows the wide, well-graded surface of the former railroad bed that has been converted to a multi-use trail. The trip is one of the most beautiful and interesting along the Confederation Trail, highlighted by glorious views over St. Peter's Bay. Dotted throughout the bay are the nets for one of the island's most well-known industries: commercial mussel farming."
