Georgian Bay Islands National Park Professional Review and Guide
"This is another somewhat busier, but more sheltered Georgian Bay trip like The Massasauga. Also like the previous route, park land is mixed with private land, and there is a fair amount of boat traffic—if you want to paddle this area in the summer, you would be well advised to avoid weekends in general, but especially the long ones. Motorboat traffic and use of the park in general drops off sharply after Thanksgiving. This may be the best time to paddle the island: During the colder fall nights, the wood stoves and picnic shelters come into their own."
