Situated on the rugged eastern shore, Taylor Head is a narrow granite finger jutting more than 6.5 km (4 mi) into the Atlantic Ocean. With more than 16 km (10 mi) of coastline, of which at least 1 km (0.6 mi) is magnificent white sand beach and approximately 18 km (11.25 mi) of trails, this is a wonderful spot to hike. Radiating out from a central all the many interpretive panels found near the start and to visit Newcombe’s Graveyard .
