Although connected, I have broken this trail into two routes so that each may remain less than 10 km (6.25 mi) in length. This attractive pathway, following the shores of lakes Banook and Micmac, is very popular with Dartmouth residents. Every day hundreds walk, bicycle, and run along both sections of this trail. Both are wheelchair accessible, if you do not mind a crushed-stone surface, and in-line skaters can use the paved Sullivans Pond section.
