Pinchgut Lake Professional Review and Guide
"The trail is located west of Corner Brook, off of the Trans-Canada Highway. The route is a 16.8-mile out-and-back that wanders somewhere close to Pinchgut Lake. Following a series of active and former logging roads, the ride is suitable for intermediate riders and even plucky beginners. The trail surface is hard-packed and predictable, which is good, because a good portion of it lies underwater.
This is perhaps the number one reason local riders favor this ride: a series of long, deep puddles guarantees wet feet, at least, and lots of laughs. For those looking to lengthen the ride, create a loop, or merely avoid riding along the paved shoulder of the Trans - Canada Highway at the start, this ride can be combined with Lady Slipper Road - 12-Mile Dam."
