The main features of this trail are the spectacular coastline and the bog vegetation. The coastline is particularly interesting with its shore life – barnacles, sea urchins, rock crabs, and sand dollars – and its views. These alone make this trail worthwhile. The other attraction, the bog, is notable for its dwarf conifers, insect-eating pitcher plants, sundews, and Labrador tea. Trail Condition: generally dry, wet spots at tip of peninsula and bog, long boardwalk.
