A nice trail through mostly mixed woods where the work of the beaver can be observed at several points. The ponds provide good opportunities to watch white-tailed deer and moose. The side trail to Money Cove will give the hiker access to Money Cove Bay and the rugged western Fundy coast of the island. The wide trail ascends gently. Ignore some smaller side trails departing to the right and follow the yellow blazes. Continue straight at a fork. After some distance, the trail is joined by a woods road from the left. There are a few wet spots on the mostly grassy trail.
