Fundy Model Forest is located in southern New Brunswick, on the coast between Sussex and Martin Head. This ride begins from Adair's Wilderness Lodge on Creek Road and follows a series of old and new logging roads to the small cemetery atop Cripps Hill. From the cemetery you can choose to return immediately to Adair's, or embark on a longer excursion. The longer ride is a 16-mile loop, which includes a short side trip to the cemetery. This option provides a longer tour through the wilderness area bounded by Creek Road to the west and by Shepody road to the south and east. Both rides feature mostly doubletrack riding on old logging roads and some distance on active forestry roads that are wider, graded, and gravel surfaced. The longer ride demands more endurance and requires sound map-reading skills, but still only requires an intermediate level of skill. Because of its length, this option should be considered a full-day excursion.
