Rockwood Park is located just 5 minutes from downtown Saint John. The 7-mile ride heads out on the main gravel trail and creates a loop on the return trip, utilizing a combination of single and doubletrack trails. The main trail offers a scenic ride over rolling hills and just two short, steep climbs. The singletrack trails head into the woods and through marshy areas, on challenging terrain that requires intermediate to advanced skill and, in some areas, a hankering for mud. On all of these trails you will enjoy the natural features of the park, and there are opportunities to swim and fish at several of the small lakes, including one near the end of the ride, with a beach, changing facilities, and a swimming area.
