Riverfront Park, Riverview’s portion of the Trans Canada Trail, is a great place to river watch in the middle of an urban environment. Over the years, the Petitcodiac River has shifted towards the Riverview side, and it is often easier to observe the phenomenon of the tidal bore from the Riverview side than it is from Bore Park in Moncton. I’ve always found that the juxtaposition of shops, restaurants, and services along Coverdale Road on one side, and the ever-changing river on the other side makes an interesting combination on this part of the trail.
