Riverfront Promenade: Trans Canada Trail Professional Review and Guide
"Moncton’s portion of the Trans Canada Trail, known as Riverfront Promenade, runs along the Moncton side of the Petitcodiac River. The mighty Petitcodiac was a major influence on the city’s development and this portion of the trail swings past much of the city’s history. This is a good place for youth groups to visit for heritage expeditions. However, you may find that the young people are more interested in the action at the skateboard park. It is lit at night, and the downtown portion is usually well populated, so it should be safe to go there in the early evenings. However, it is a city neighborhood, so I wouldn’t go by myself or send children on their own."
