Millennium Ecological Park Trail Professional Review and Guide
"The Millennium Ecological Park at the Université de Moncton is another park that could eventually be hooked up to the Millennium Trail network. This 3-4 hectare park is a new concept in urban parks which shows students, professors, politicians, and the general community how it is possible to live in harmony with nature. It reminds people that nature is beautiful. It demonstrates how plants can help clean our water and air, and even help us to meet our targets for the Kyoto Accord. A gazebo by the Pierre A. Landry entrance welcomes visitors into the park, and the nearby benches encourage them to sit and enjoy it. Many of the benches were donated in memory of loved ones. No chemicals are used in the park. Even mowing the grass is kept to a strict minimum."
