Centennial Park Trails Professional Review and Guide
"Centennial Park was the city’s first nature park. The park became known as Natural Park. shortly after the original 200 acres of land were donated to the city in 1910. The land remained “natural” for another forty years, until Playtime Projects Limited built a swimming pool in the park. The park wasn’t officially named Centennial Park until 1967.
Today, the nature trails in the 380-acre park are a good place to see woodpeckers, red squirrels, raccoons, foxes, and chipmunks. This trail guide includes information and descriptions for Red Trail, Green Trail, Carriage Trail, and Centennial Pond Trail."
