In the 1870s, the Irishtown Road Reservoir was created by damming Ogilvie Brook. It served as a water supply for Moncton for years, but recently this preserved area became a nature park. It now features a mature forest, active beaver lodges, trilliums and other wildflowers in the spring, and good birding throughout the year. Trail Condition: Sections of rough boardwalk, corduroy road, muddy in places.
