The trail features include a large field where once an old homestead was located. There are also some good views across the Kouchibouguac River, where benches invite you to stay awhile. Of special interest is the hanging red pine tree at Sandstone Gardens. A short distance beyond, the trail ends at a bike trail that parallels this footpath. Here, you may retrace your steps or return on the bicycle trail. Trail Condition: dry.
