At the top of the stairs near the parking lot is a telescope that allows views towards the nesting area of the peregrine falcons on the other side of the bay. You pass by an old growth of red spruce forest. The gravelly beach features an old dam, some remaining pilings from an old wharf, and a variety of sea life. Trail Condition: boardwalk, steps.
