The trail is located in Caraquet, on the Acadian Peninsula in northeast New Brunswick. Beginning from Carrefour de la Mer (Crossroads of the Sea), a busy little port located at the edge of town, this ride picks up a short spur of the multi-use recreational trail before connecting to the old railroad bed. You will ride through Caraquet, traversing the high bank overlooking the Baie des Chaleurs, before the trail turns inland and toward the communities of Bertrand, Burnsville, Saint-Leolin, and Grande Anse. the ride nears its end at an access point to a beach and lighthouse, where covered picnic tables provide the perfect place for a post-ride swim and picnic.
