Stunning views from the top of Mount Bailey across the mountain range with Mount Sagamook on the left, Mount Carleton with an old fire tower straight ahead, and Bald Mountain Brook and watershed deep below in the valley make hiking this trail worthwhile. There is also a picnic table at Bailey’s peak. Other good vistas are along the alternate cliff section of the trail. Deer and moose are occasionally seen in the valley and watershed below, as are partridges near the cliffs. Trail Condition: dry.
