The trailhead is located in Beaumont, a half-hour southeast of Moncton on the Petitcodiac River. Spectacular views, challenging terrain, and exuberant riders combined to make this one of our most memorable rides. It begins on a 5.6-mile warm-up loop and concluded on a longer, 9.4-mile loop. The combination creates a loop-within-a-loop that includes only a short overlap. The first loop is a short but rigorous ride that will get your blood flowing. It features climbs and descents on rocky, hard-packed, doubletrack trails and touches only briefly on dirt roads. On the second loop you will cross to the east bank of the peninsula and complete a circuit around its perimeter, riding along the Memramcook River to Fort Folly Point, and then returning to the trailhead along the shore of the Petitcodiac River.

Great way to get in shape, with the beauty of the view. This used to be part of the race circuit. Dry, hard packed. Good from early spring to late autumn. Has everything from steep rise, long descent and a bit of technical parts.
