This trail is located south of Whistler Townsite. This trail tests your lung capacity. Be sure to bring along a camera on this 9 km (5.4 miles) one-way ride. As you pass the CBC (Canadian Public Broadcasting) tower, the waters of Alpha, Nita, and Alta Lakes spread out beneath you remind you of the swim that is a requisite part of completing any ride in the area. It also should remind you that you are just about out of drinking water, so be sure to pack an extra bottle. This is camelback country for good reason. You'll find yourself sucking the humid air until your throat screams for water. The basic route climbs form the Whistler Interpretive Forest, passes a CBC tower, and finally drops down to finish in the Creekside Condos south of the village. Plenty of viewpoints offer a welcome rest, and several other trails may beckon en route. should you decide to heed their call, simply select the downhill line when you've had enough.
