This short circuit on lower Hollyburn is satisfying for its variety, incorporating a stretch of the Baden-Powell Trail, the old Forks Trail, and a piece of West Vancouver’s Forestry Heritage Walk. If time and energy allow, a worthwhile side trip can be included to visit one of Vancouver’s largest trees. Standing 45 m (150 feet) high and almost 3 m (10 feet) in diameter, this giant Douglas fir is thought to be nearly 1100 years old.
