Perched on the edge of the Strait of Georgia, the Pasley Group provides the perfect setting to leisurely dip a paddle and enjoy the company of a few curious seals. Most of the islands are privately owned, and if you want to camp you’ll need to paddle to Plumper Cove Provincial Marine Park on Keats Island. Don’t let this deter you from some of the best day-tripping on the south coast, however, as access from Bowen Island is easy. Nestled among the coastal mountains, speckled with summer homes and flanked by the bright lights of Vancouver, West Vancouver and Gibsons, Howe Sound blends the beauty of the Gulf Islands with the rugged North Coast and places it all invitingly on our doorstep. It is a unique slice of West Coast life well worth exploring.
