As an alternative to the road access into Cypress Provincial Park from the south, the trail from the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) to the Howe Sound Crest Trail (HSCT) and the Bowen Island Lookout should appeal to the hiker who prefers cool forests and the peace of the trail to the noise and smell of internal combustion engines. The trail follows Montizambert Creek to the source of its south fork in Yew Lake.
