Sasamat Lake

Sasamat Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Some days, a simple walk around a lake is all you need, perhaps combined with some fishing or a picnic. Sasamat Lake is considered one of the warmest summer swimming lakes near the city, but in winter the floating bridge and loop trail make for a pleasant and quiet forest walk.

It also has wilderness appeal, being on the edge of Indian Arm. Nearby, the Village of Belcarra has a long history as an away-from-the-city escape."
