This trail is located at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Part of the University of British Columbia Endowment Lands, Pacific Spirit Regional Park provides a touch of wilderness in the middle of the metropolis of Vancouver. The trails are all rated as easy and feature wide gradients and well-maintained surfaces. Park managers have been careful to create a network of trails designed to minimize conflicts between users; it is incumbent on mountain bikers to honour these efforts by staying on designated trails and avoiding the temptation to poach some of the narrower singletrack hiking trails. Wooden gates have been placed at the entrance to the hiking only trails to indicate closure to cyclists. Although largely forested, the trails traverse forests of western red cedar mixed with stands of cottonwood and bigleaf maple. The understory is a mixture of vine maple, salmonberry, and ferns.

Green Circle (ski sign) very easy riding, some of the trails have large pebbles in the trail making it a rough ride (shake up some) I would love to ride the closed off trails for I sure you would get some Blue Sq for more challenge. the biggest challenge is not to hit a tree the trail is very curvy in areas, some raised areas for trail wash out. you can loose your self pretty easily in here the trails are marked and there is a map of the area but not sure where you pick that up. Since there is no topo yet. I tracked it on my runkeeper app on the phone. I did roughly 20km in 1.5 hrs. Over all rating 3.5 stars out of 5 reasons. Lots of people so you need to be alert when riding, very scenic area (trees), Not a technical ride, plenty of trails to ride on. Trail types: Gravel, Lime Stone, Mud/dirt

Very good trail for a beginner , some steps like it says , downhill 1/3 of the time , and some steep uphills , but a great combo . Nice hour and a half round medium speed trip.

this is a fun trail it is not that hard and i think anyone could do this trial. Just be sure to download the eTrail...it comes directly from the guidebook and is much lighter (only a 6 page printout) than carrying the entire guidebook! :)
