Lynn Valley to Grouse Mountain

Lynn Valley to Grouse Mountain Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Share the trails with mountain bikers as you cut across the hillside between Lynn Valley and Grouse Mountain. The trail follows forest paths through thick second growth and across numerous creeks. Short but steep elevation gains provide a moderate, metered-out challenge. A couple of lookouts sneak in a few ever-appreciated views.

This hike marks the thin border between city and wilderness. It cuts across the steep slopes of the North Shore Mountains, ducking in and out of creek canyons and intersecting with biking paths, mountain roads, and residential streets. As with other sections of the Baden Powell, this hike goes from point to point—requiring transport at both ends. Both trailheads are near city bus stops."
