Jericho Park Professional Review and Guide
"The diversity of natural features in this relatively small city park on English Bay attracts a wide range of bird life. Migrant waterfowl, shorebirds, raptors and songbirds pass through in spring and fall, adding their numbers to the many birds that regularly nest or feed in the park.
Accustomed to human company, resident ducks and songbirds are not shy; even the great blue heron will tolerate an audience. Highlights: freshwater marsh and ponds, woodland, meadow, foreshore, saltwater bay; ducks, diving birds, shorebirds, gulls and songbirds. Terrain: Flat. Gravel paths suitable for wheelchairs, forest and meadow trails, lawn and beach."
