English Bay Professional Review and Guide
"Here, in one of Vancouver’s most attractive areas, you have a walk that may be as long as a 13-km (8-mi) lung-expander or, if you elect to do only the West End part and do not cross the ferry to Granville Island, a gentle stroll of less than half that distance. You may even make it a leisurely one-way walk by using the public bus service for your return."
--Mary & David Macaree, 109 Walks in British Columbia's Lower Mainland (Greystone Books).
I did the trail in bits over a couple of days, walking along the seawall from the sea bus landing to Stanley Park, around Lost Lagoon and to the Grenville Island crossing one day and walking from the sea bus across town to Pacific Place and then along the seawall to the Ferry crossing the next. I also spend considerable time on Grenville island but did not make it to the museum. It was foggy, wet and cool, but the trail was an enjoyable blend of city and open space.
