Located in Lynn Headwaters Regional Park (LHRP), this hike is full of contrasts: a well-groomed park trail along a gentle valley bottom; a rugged wilderness route that ranges from steep, forested slopes to wet meadows; and a subalpine, rocky ridge to the open, alpine summit. From the top there are views all around. To the north are nearby Mount Burwell and the distant mountains of Garibaldi Provincial Park, to the southeast are Mounts Seymour, Elsay and Bishop with Mount Baker rising beyond them, across the Strait of Georgia are the Vancouver Island mountains and in the southwest stand nearby Crown and Goat Mountains.
