This relatively new seaside trail begins in the town of Ucluelet and follows the Island’s west coast. Still in the works, a section of the trail temporarily parallels some of the town’s roads to link up with an extension at Big Beach. The trail also includes views of Barkley Sound and the Broken Islands Group to the east, and the open Pacific to the south and west. Segments feature old-growth thickets and a glimpse into the history of Ucluelet as the trail winds its way around the Amphitrite Lighthouse.
