The hike up Record Ridge offers a much easier and shorter route into the highlands of the Rossland Range than the trip up Old Glory. You’ll still get far-reaching views, wildflower-filled meadows, and a prime backcountry experience, but without all the work. And even though this hike is short and close to the outdoor recreation town of Rossland, it doesn’t see much use. Most of Rossland’s active visitors come to mountain bike, and there are plenty of trails better for biking than this one.
