Its statistics suggest that this walk may be a little lacking in distance. The relative shortness of the current trail system is, however, more than compensated for by the points of interest along the route, as you wend your way through lush meadows and mixed deciduous-coniferous forest among the headwater feeders of the Serpentine River, with, as culmination, the Tynehead Salmon Hatchery, open at certain times to the public.
