This trail is located in Garibaldi Provincial Park. This ride reminds one of why mountain bikes were invented in the first place- to leave the world behind and access magical locations. The climb to Elfin Lakes can be done one of two ways- hard or harder. By parking near the Squamish Valley Golf and Country Club, you can add an additional 14.3 km (8.6 miles) and 860 meters (2821 feet) to the ride. Riders sufficiently challenged by the 21.4 km (12.8 miles) of the main trail may choose to drive this stretch and save their legs (and lungs) for the entree. The trail offers different distances, so that both groups of riders will have accurate distances to follow.

Good day hike eith the option to overnight near or in the backcountry cabin. Can be crowded in the summer but the lakes are beautiful. Many other hikes in the region if you wanted to extend the hike to a multiple-day trip.
