Though the upper part of the route to this miniature mountain has suffered from the construction of television repeater towers, this trip is still very much worthwhile, if only for the tremendous panorama from its summit. And not all is lost along the way, either; the lower part of the original logging road you use is very much as it always was, even to the mellowing signs of past activity: rusted cable, an old power winch abandoned and forlorn, and what is left of a sawdust pile.
