Moderate hiking on good trail with two strenuous ascents. The trail over Tornado Saddle has faded. You must pick your own route. The original Great Divide Trail traverses the Beehive Natural Area at timberline. Beehive Mountain in the Beehive Natural Area, is part of the High Rock Range that forms the Continental Divide. Much of the route stays on ridge-crests giving you the opportunity to stay in view of Beehive Mountain and the High Rock Range. The hiking trail is superb throughout this segment.
