This is a pleasant ramble through mixed forest past a creek to a restful but windy cove with a shell beach. The meandering Matheson Creek and Roche Cove are two of the main park highlights. Be aware that the routes leading to viewpoints are as lengthy as the trails themselves. If you don’t mind straying off the main trail, which is the Cedar Grove Trail, you can follow the viewpoint signs for a worthwhile look at highlights.
