Locate this rugged series of boat access hiking trails and routes via Schoen Lake Provincial Park near the Mount Cain Ski Area. The main trail from the Schoen Lake base camp explores the stunning Nisnak Valley, where multiple mountain peaks overlook a pristine lake. Under options: I was not able to find Schoen Lake Rd and so did not find that trailhead. Instead I followed the Compton Creek Main Access. As soon as the logging road ended, I had to turn around as their was no trail and it was so overgrown as to be impossible to continue.
