Bostock Creek Professional Review and Guide
"An uphill hike through the wet montane forest of the Columbia Mountains to Bostock Pass, where you’ll gain views of Fidelity Mountain and Corbin Peak. If you’ve spent a few days in the Illecillewaet area, this trail encourages a nice change of scenery. Unlike the ever-present glacial landscape of the Asulkan and Illecillewaet, Bostock is a pleasant, seldom-traveled trail that winds through a wet montane forest up the valley to Bostock Pass, where you gain great views of Fidelity Mountain (2,545 m) and snow-capped Corbin Peak (2,576 m).
These peaks of the Selkirk Mountains have sedimentary rock covering the older metamorphic rock. The limestone and shales give these rock faces a distinctly different appearance from the other mountains in the park; they shine like freshly laid tarmac."
