This is a fantastic trail for family and backpackers. Profuse of wildflowers and breathtaking scenery to keep everyone happy. Trail is easy to moderate from the start until Buckhorn ca(.2 miles) Then the trail gets a bit harder and one might encounter patches of snow field pass the first mountain range (Big Brother:5.1 mile) Backpackers can continue onto second camp site (Kicking Horse:8.4 miles) and from there, there are plenty of dayhike options. Be warned:this is bear country so stay alert and hang your food bag!
