Congratulations to the City of Port Moody for preserving the waterfront at the head of Burrard Inlet for recreation, thus blessing wildlife and other lovers of the outdoors. The 3-km (2-mile) Shoreline Trail from Rocky Point Park to Old Orchard Park on the north side of Port Moody Arm offers interest throughout the year, and the addition of a separate cycle track enhances the pleasure for all concerned. Highlights: Tidal marsh, forest; historic sites, fish hatchery; ducks, shorebirds, raptors. Terrain: Flat. Forest trails and boardwalks. Rocky Point Park paths are suitable for wheelchairs.
